A man born before the Wright Brothers first flew could pilot a supersonic jet before his 45th birthday. • The German Focke Wulf Stieglitz trainer - designed as a biplane to create an aircraft that is specially suited to aerobatics training.
• The Piper Cub - over 40,000 built, beginning in 1930.
• A Fieseler Fi 156 Storch (Stork) - a WWII STOL (short takeoff and landing aircraft).
• The Fairey Swordfish - a classic, immaculately restored - of 2400 built, the only one in the world still flying. Its ungainly stance and antiquated look gained it the nickname “STRINGBAG” which refers to shopping bags made of string used by English ladies during daily outings wherein all manner of objects could be carried. Remarkably lacking in any outward sophistication, the FAIREY SWORDFISH was nevertheless immensely capable for the role it was designed for.
• A Yakovlev Yak-11 - the only Russian warplane in private hands. Capable of 290 mph… a favorite at air shows.
• The AVRO Lancaster - British heavy bomber.
• The Supermarine Spitfire - a British single-seat fighter, which was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries during the Second World War, and into the 1950's. It was produced in greater numbers than any other Allied design. The Spitfire was the only Allied fighter in production at the outbreak of the Second World War that was still in production at the end of the war.
• The Hawker Hurricane - all 3 of these RAF WWII classics is shown in formation.
• A Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress - American-made, high-altitude precision bomber.
• The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang fighter escort -- first ordered and used by the RAF.
• The Pitts S-2A Special - the "Royal Jordanian Falcons" aerobatic team used 3 of these from 1978 to 1992. This was also the plane of choice for John Taylor and the Marlboro Aerobatics Team.
• Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France - the precision aerobatic demonstration team for the French Air Force - widely regarded as one of the world's most skilled teams.

• The Hawker-Siddeley Vulcan - Britain's Delta-wing, 4-engine, long-range bomber.
• The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter - flown by the Canadian "Star Fighters" Aerobatics Team.

• BAC F1 Lightning - the RAF all weather interceptor.
• USAF McDonnell Douglas, twin Pratt & Whitney engined F-15 Eagle.
